Owl And Pussycat Wed in Vegas

12 Jun

The Owl and the Pussycat eloped last weekend at a Las Vegas casino resort.
The time had come for the deed to be done, as life for the two is too short.

They drove down the road in a pea green Corvair.
Objections or blessings, they did not care.

Taking nothing to eat but a jar full of honey.
They would pay for the deal with a large wad of money.

On the way they went, the two pitched a tent, and spent one evening under the stars.
They told tales and joked. Pussy’s heart strings Owl stroked, with a serenade on guitar.
“What a beautiful Pussy you are, you are! What a beautiful Pussy you are!’

The next day they arrived at the Bong-Tree Resort.
It had a pool, a casino, and a tennis court.

Adjacent to it was a chapel to wed.
After tying the knot, to the slots they could head.

The best man they’d found, had a nose ring curled round, stuck into each nostril hole.
The ceremony not cheep, the priest’s fee quite steep. Oh, the cash that Owl did dole.

For the reception the two ate at Boarder Buffet.
There were tacos rancheros and more slots to play.

They dined on mince, and slices of quince, Which they ate with a runcible spoon.
Hand in hand, to a mariachi band, they danced by the light of the moon.
The moon, the moon, they danced by the light of the moon.
