The old woman who lives in the shoe is looking to downsize. She intends cobble together the money from the sale of the property, along with what she has in savings, and put her feet up.

Her retirement comes after her last child has moved out of the shoe. “He was nineteen, and lazy. I couldn’t stand to see the heel loafing around here anymore,” said the old woman. “So, I marched him off to boot camp.”

The shoe will be open for viewing this Sunday from noon until 4:00pm. All walk-ins welcome.
