Still waiting on the Sun to do its thing.

Adventurist, the Itsy Bitsy Spider endured what he described as a, “torrential downpour,” as nearly a tenth of an inch of precipitation fell in a three-hour time span yesterday. This happened as the Itsy Bitsy Spider lead an expedition up the back corner waterspout of a duplex located on the 800 block of Euclid Avenue. Moisture accumulated in the gutters and trickled down the spout, flushing out the spider.

The Itsy Bitsy Spider has taken refuge at base-camp, established within a window box. “This is my third attempt at conquering the waterspout,” said the Itsy Bitsy Spider. When asked why he wanted to climb to the top of the waterspout, the Itsy Bitsy Spider responded, “Because it’s there.” He will try again to reach the summit after all of the water has had a chance to evaporate.

I heard a rumor that Itsy Bitsy wasn’t really Itsy and that’s why he was so easy to wash away. I did not hear this rumor from the waterspout.

He may have slipped on his diet, as well as the wet spout.
